Key Account Assistant manager

As a fulltime Key Account Specialist, you will assist the Key Account Manager in managing and strengthening relationships with key clients. You will participate in improvement projects, ensuring clear communication, smooth project execution, and strategic consistency. Your core duties are:

  • Developing strong connections with key customers and their suppliers through frequent on-site presence;
  • Leveraging your commercial acumen to identify new opportunities and collaborating with the Key Account Manager to seize them;
  • Supporting the evaluation of prototypes at customer locations;
  • Tracking project progress, performing cost analysis, and preparing presentations;
  • Finding new suppliers and expanding the network when necessary;
  • Working with cross-functional teams in sales, planning, customer service, engineering, logistics, and production in Hooge Mierde, Poland, and the Czech Republic to ensure excellent project execution;
  • Gathering firsthand data and contributing to sales growth.

Ideally, you reside in Eindhoven or nearby. Although you will work from home, regular travel to the Hooge Mierde facility, the headquarters in Merelbeke (Belgium), and to client or supplier locations is required.

Requirements:

  • Education: You possess a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar discipline. Knowledge of packaging and hands-on experience with 3D software are considered beneficial;
  • Enthusiasm and Initiative: Passionate about the technical fields our clients operate in, you are driven to uncover and develop new business prospects, consistently building robust relationships;
  • Core Skills:
  • Strong analytical abilities to derive key insights from data, facilitating the recognition of opportunities within client accounts;
  • Exceptional ability to foster long-term, trusting relationships with clients and suppliers;
  • Proficiency in using Outlook and an excellent command of Excel;
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
