Assistant Key Account Manager

As a fulltime Key Account Specialist, you will support the Key Account Manager by managing and enhancing relationships with important customers. You will be involved in improvement projects, ensuring effective communication and project execution. Your key responsibilities are:

  • Building strong relationships with key clients and their suppliers by maintaining a strong on-site presence;
  • Using your commercial expertise to spot new developments and working closely with the Key Account Manager to take advantage of these opportunities;
  • Assisting in the evaluation of prototypes at customer locations;
  • Monitoring project progress, conducting cost analysis, and creating presentations;
  • Identifying new suppliers and growing the network as needed;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, planning, customer service, engineering, logistics, and production in Hooge Mierde, Poland, and the Czech Republic to ensure excellent project execution;
  • Collecting data firsthand and providing data to drive sales growth.

Ideally, you live in Eindhoven or the surrounding area. You will work from home but will need to travel regularly to the Hooge Mierde site, the headquarters in Merelbeke (Belgium), and to client or supplier sites.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of packaging and experience with 3D software would be advantageous;
  • Passion for Technology: Enthusiastic about the technical domains of our customers, you have the drive and energy to seek out and seize new business opportunities while building new relationships;
  • Important Attributes:
  • Analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from data, aiding in the identification of opportunities within accounts;
  • A results-oriented mindset with strong organizational and project management skills;
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with customers and suppliers;
  • Proficiency with Outlook and an excellent understanding of Excel;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
