Key Account Assistant Manager

As a fulltime Key Account Specialist, you will support the Key Account Manager in nurturing and enhancing relationships with key customers. You will take part in improvement projects for these key accounts, ensuring effective communication, project execution, and strategic alignment. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with key customers and their suppliers through regular visits.
  • Using your commercial skills to identify new developments and working closely with the Key Account Manager to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of prototypes at customer sites.
  • Monitoring project progress, conducting cost analysis, and preparing presentations.
  • Identifying new suppliers and expanding the network as needed.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, planning, customer service, engineering, logistics, and production in Hooge Mierde, Poland, and the Czech Republic to ensure top-notch project execution.
  • Collecting and providing data for sales growth.

Ideally, you live in Eindhoven or the surrounding area. You will work from home but will need to travel regularly to the shop floor in Hooge Mierde, the HQ in Merelbeke (Belgium), and to clients’ or suppliers’ sites.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: You hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with packaging and experience using 3D software would be an advantage;
  • Passion and Drive: You are enthusiastic about the technical environment of our customers and have the energy and drive to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while tenaciously building new relationships;
  • Key Assets:
  • Analytical thinking skills to extract key insights from data, aiding in the identification of opportunities within accounts;
  • A strong focus on commercial results, coupled with organizational talent and project management skills;
  • The ability to cultivate long-term, trusting relationships with customers and suppliers;
  • Proficiency in Outlook and advanced skills in Excel;
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent speaking and writing abilities.
