Sales Trainee - Dutch and German Speaking - Noord-Holland

Our client is an international and established distributor of raw materials to various industries such as the agro business, pharmaceutical and food industry. Our client is located in the area of Enkhuizen. Due to expansion of the business our client is looking for a sales driven Sales Trainee with German skills to join their team.

Responsibilities/Tasks

As a Sales Trainee, you start your career in the internal sales department, where you start by understanding work processes, building product and customer knowledge. You work closely with experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to learn about the different industries the company is active in. With your proactive and motivated attitude, you will develop your sales skills both on-the-job and through training, preparing you for a dynamic role in the field with a lot of freedom and responsibility.

Onboarding period:

• Start in the internal sales department to understand the internal administrative processes and guidelines.




• Build in-depth knowledge of our products and customers.

Sales skills:

• Actively develop your sales techniques through personal guidance and training.




• Actively maintain and expand the customer base.




• Respond to, analyze, and develop new business opportunities.




• Negotiate contracts, terms, and provide suitable solutions.




• Achieve sales targets and report results.




• Participate in trade fairs, events, and networking meetings.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.




• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and quality standards.

Growth and development:

• Grow with the company and contribute to international success stories.

Requirements

• A higher education degree (HBO or WO), preferably in commercial, economic, or business administration.




• Some commercial experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality through internships or part-time jobs.




• Commercial Skills: Strong commercial insight and a passion for sales.




• Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. German is a big plus.




• A passion for sales with a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
