Sourcing Excellence Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing Excellence Manager. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage procurement activities for key operational categories, including facilities, engineering, and equipment. The position requires a strong background in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations. You will play a vital role in ensuring value-driven procurement while adhering to corporate policies and delivering impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project and operational needs.
- Manage procurement processes, including eRFX events, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Utilize digital sourcing tools to streamline tendering and contract management activities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and support stakeholder understanding through training and guidance.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities, validate savings, and deliver value.
- Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments, and dispute resolution.
- Provide expert input on supplier selection, pricing structures, and incentives during project execution.
- Maintain sourcing plans as living documents, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years experience in sourcing, capital procurement, or project management.
- Proven expertise in sourcing within facilities and distribution environments.
- Strong knowledge of tendering, supplier negotiations, and contracting processes.
- Proficiency in e-sourcing platforms (e.g., Scout, Ariba) and contract management tools (e.g., Sirion).
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and oral skills.
