Dutch Flower Art Museum

The Flower Art Museum is a great boost to Aalsmeer as a globally-renowned horticultural town. It is the world's first museum dedicated entirely to contemporary art inspired by flowers. The annual celebration of flowers, Aalsmeer Flower Festival, takes place at Aalsmeer, both at the Flower Art Museum, as well as at the Horticultural Museum of Aalsmeer.

Aalsmeer Horticultural Museum brings visitors back in time to the rich history of flowers in Aalsmeer from 1300 to the present day. There is a permanent exhibition at the museum, as well as frequently updated temporary exhibitions and flower shows. The annual celebration of flowers, Aalsmeer Flower Festival, takes place in June at two venues: the Aalsmeer Horticultural Museum (Historische Tuin), as well as at the Dutch Flower Art Museum.
