Het Valkhof Museum Nijmegen

Museum Het Valkhof in Nijmegen houses a major collection of Roman antiquities, old masters and modern art. It has existed since 1999 and focuses chiefly on archaeology and art. Even its location has historical significance: it stands on the edge of Valkhof Park, which is the site of a Roman army camp and a citadel built by Charlemagne.
