Their products are trusted by some of the world’s largest companies and have been successfully deployed in remote, high-risk, and challenging environments across various industries.
Now, as part of their ambitious expansion plans, they are establishing a European headquarters in the Rotterdam area. To support this exciting new chapter, we are helping them attract talent for several dynamic roles. Among these is a pivotal new position: Business Development Manager, offering a unique opportunity to drive growth and make a lasting impact.
Role of Business Development Manager:
This is a new and exciting role which gives you great scope to build new relationships as well as maintaining and expanding existing accounts too. You will identify, qualify and activate new leads and opportunities and take them all the way through to closing the deal. You will build long term relationships with channel partners, including end users, engineering and construction firms, maintenance/operational contractors and many more within the Benelux region.
As the new European office is in start-up phase you will initially report into the General Manager who is relocating to the Netherlands from Headquarters.
Our client is looking to meet you if you fit the following profile:
- You have a minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience in one or more of the following sectors; Industrial products, industrial lighting or electrical wholesaler/distributor.
- You are highly motivated, goal oriented and with a proven record of new business generation.
- You are a natural networker and you establish, build and maintain relationships easily.
- You have exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- You are happy and willing to visit your customers within the Benelux region and you are in possession of a European Driving Licence.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English and can do your job effectively in both languages.
- Ideally you live in the Rotterdam/Zuid Holland region.
