Are you passionate about understanding consumer market trends and behavior?
We're currently working with a leading Asian food company known for its iconic FMCG food products, which have seen remarkable success in the European market. To further expand its presence, the company has launched a new European HQ in Amstelveen. As part of this exciting growth, we are looking for a (Sr) Market Intelligence & Consumer Insights Analyst to help build a strong foundation for its European market strategy together with the Global HQ.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence (MI)
- Conduct market research and data analysis to identify industry trends and business opportunities.
- Monitor competitive landscapes and generate insightful reports.
- Analyze economic, industrial, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Plan and execute field research, including surveys and interviews.
- Support the localization of global marketing strategies by working with headquarters and regional teams.
Customer Insights (CI)
- Analyze consumer behavior and customer data to derive actionable insights.
- Develop customer segmentation models and personas.
- Support CRM data analysis to enhance customer experience and engagement.
- Utilize BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) for data visualization and report generation.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in market research, customer data analysis, and consumer insights.
- Background in global FMCG companies in MI/CI roles. We cannot consider candidates who have only worked for a consultancy firm.
- Hands-on experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills (preferably proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, or R).
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and brand strategy.
- Fluency in English for communication with global teams. Any other European language or Korean would be plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CRM data analysis and customer segmentation.
- Knowledge of digital marketing data analysis.
- Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience working in multinational environments.
The way of working:
This is an onsite role where you need to be in the office 5 days a week in the office in Amstelveen.
