We're currently working with a leading Asian food company known for its iconic FMCG food products, which have seen remarkable success in the European market. To further expand its presence, the company has launched a new European HQ in Amstelveen. As part of this exciting growth, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Consumer Insights & Market Strategy to help build a strong foundation for its European market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategic vision for each business sector.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to inform business planning and strategy.
- Analyze market trends and assess risks based on economic, industry, and consumer insights.
- Develop product differentiation strategies through industry benchmarking, competitive intelligence, and market analysis.
- Identify new business opportunities by evaluating global and local market trends.
- Create and assess new business models, conduct feasibility studies, and establish execution strategies.
- Identify and execute strategic brand collaborations and investment opportunities aligned with the company's expansion strategy.
- Work closely with headquarters and subsidiaries to support global business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business planning and strategic planning in the global FMCG industry
- Experience in new business development, business model establishment, feasibility analysis, and execution
- Expertise in global brand marketing and consumer behavior research
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, cultural dynamics, and brand perception.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis and field research.

Strong analytical and reporting skills (experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R preferred)
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration in multinational teams.
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CRM data analysis and customer segmentation.
- Background in brand marketing and consumer research.
- Expertise in digital marketing data analysis.
The way of working:
This is an onsite role where you need to be in the office 5 days a week in the office in Amstelveen.
