Mechanical Engineer - French speaking

In this role you will support customers with detailed technical calculations, sizing of equipment and product recommendations to optimize the conveyance of products in the Food and Consumer Packaged Goods markets (straight running & radius conveyors, elevators, etc). You will be a member of the Technical Support Group (TSG), an integral part of Intralox’s service organization, based in the Netherlands.
What will you do?

• Technical evaluations of conveying systems by performing detailed calculations, analysis and conveyor design review
• Making industry specific product recommendations
• Troubleshoot issues remotely
• Participate in development and maintenance of tools and documentation
• Collaborate and align with Application Engineers, Account Managers and others to ensure we are aligned in our service offerings and recommendations – one voice

Requirements:

• Professional level of French with advanced communication skills in English. Spanish as and additional language is seen as a great advantage
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering
• 1-3 years of experience related to material handling, conveyor systems, or in technical customer support (remote and/or on-site) is highly desirable
• Proficient in using CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and Microsoft Suite
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Service minded; self-managed mentality with a sense of ownership
