Our client is a global player in the optical field specializing in medical devices supplying medical equipment to hospitals, specialists, and optometrists. On behalf of them, we are looking for a Medical Equipment Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, repairs, and calibrations of high-quality medical instruments (at the office).
- Ensure work is carried out safely and according to established procedures, prioritizing quality.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes.
- Work with instruments that integrate electronics, optics, and fine mechanical components.
- Collaborate closely with a team of specialists focused on improving repair processes.
- Share knowledge and experience with team members to foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic electronics professional with a strong aptitude for fine mechanics. You are hands-on and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. With several years of experience in a similar position, you possess the following qualifications:
- Completed secondary vocational education (MBO) in Electronics or a related field
- Experience in repairing medical and/or ophthalmic instruments
- Knowledge of the technology underlying the equipment
- A strong determination to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions
- A desire to learn and a commitment to personal development
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Dutch preferred
