QA Manager | ENG | Medical Devices

Our client is a global player in the optical field specializing in medical devices supplying medical equipment to hospitals, specialists, and optometrists. On behalf of them, we are looking fr a QA Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

As a QA Manager, you will oversee product quality by implementing and maintaining QA processes and ensuring compliance through internal and external audits. You will be responsible for setting quality standards that meet customer expectations. Reporting to the QA/RA Director and there is no direct report. 

• Conduct and manage audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, address issues, and improve supplier performance.
• Manage product quality risks, including regulatory and supply chain risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics (KPIs) to drive improvements.
• Support country registrations and compliance with international regulations.
• Maintain key quality documentation, including SOPs, audit reports, and environmental reports.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Science or Engineering is preferred, but at least a Bachelor's degree in the similar field
• 5+ years of experience in medical device QA
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in international settings
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, EMA, GDPR
• Fluent in English
