Inhouse Tax Manager

In this role you will join a Tax team of three, reporting to the Head of Tax. You will be all round responsible for all tax matters, for example:

• Provide (inter)national tax advice on strategy, policies, projects etc.;
• Support in M&A projects and assist in DD on acquisitions, divestments, finance structuring and corporate restructurings;
• Support tax audits and negotiate and liaise with tax authorities;
• Understanding of international wage tax, TP and VAT principles and support business units if needed;
• Liaise with the internal departments (e.g. legal, finance and business), including creating increasing tax awareness, and manage relationships with external tax advisors.

This is a new role in a still new tax team with lot's of room for development of the role, yourself and the Tax function within the company.

Requirements:

Hard skills

• Mr. Tax Law or Fiscal Economics;
• 7 years of relevant experience in Dutch and international tax;
• Knowledge of VAT and TP experience in an in-house tax department and in providing and explaining tax guidance to non-tax professionals are a plus;

Soft skills

• Pro-active and hands-on;
• Outgoing person with good communication skills.
