Account Executive - Digital Marketing

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join the account management team with a fixed-term contract of 12 months. Join a leading international events and media company, where you will manage accounts, build relationships, and drive revenue in the Food & Nutraceuticals industry.
Your job as a Account Executive
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, selling digital advertising solutions, and ensuring customer success. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-ups.
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs.
  • Selling digital marketing and content solutions that enhance brand visibility.
  • Creating and presenting tailored business proposals to potential customers.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management in Salesforce.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop lead generation campaigns.

Your workplace
You will join a collaborative and multi-cultural team made up of digital marketing specialists, content marketing specialists and industry experts. They will expand further as they grow their products and services. This is an Amsterdam based position reporting to the Digital Sales Manager. The  Amsterdam office is a vibrant hub for passionate professionals.
What do you bring to the table?
You are a motivated sales professional with a passion for digital marketing and strong relationship-building skills. You also have:

  • Experience in B2B sales of online marketing services.
  • Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, including email and content marketing.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to identify cross- and upselling opportunities.
  • Excellent English skills; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, at least twice a year!
