Platform Engineer - Logfile Management (Temporary)

For a big telecom company in Amsterdam, we are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer!
In this role, you'll lead Logfile Management initiatives within the company's Data Services Hub, focusing on ensuring the reliability and performance of the products and services.

• Innovate and maintain scalable, high-performance solutions, with a focus on processing large data volumes efficiently.




• Take ownership of platform lifecycle management, from initial design to ongoing operational support.




• Develop and optimize operational processes, utilizing your expertise in logging/monitoring solutions to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.




• Engage with streaming technologies, including Kafka, and integrate principles like Data Mesh to optimize data architecture in conjunction with Logstash and Grafana Loki.




• Collaborate and share knowledge within the team, supporting both internal and external stakeholders with a spirit of cooperation and mutual growth.




• Lead and mentor, fostering a culture of learning and development among colleagues and customers, encouraging diversity of thought and approach.

A great fulltime (40 hours) assignment in Amsterdam, hybrid working is possible. For zzp the hourly rate is between 80-85 Euro per hour. There's also the possibility of a flex contract via us, in which case an attractive salary applies.

Requirements:

* Proficiency in Logstash and Grafana Loki, with experience in building resilient, scalable solutions for logging and monitoring.
* Demonstrated expertise in handling high-volume data processing with precision, specifically within Logstash and Grafana Loki environments.
* Strong understanding of streaming technologies, especially Kafka, and familiarity with data architecture concepts like Data Mesh.
* Experience in developing and refining operational processes within a DevOps framework.
* Fluent in English, Dutch is a big plus;

We're looking for individuals with a strong affinity for logging/monitoring solutions, and who is passionate about security with a keen focus on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). This position supports a product that operates on a 24/7 basis, ensuring maximum reliability and performance for users.
