Logistics Coordinator

You will:

  • Plan and coordinate shipments with the HQ and external stakeholders, ensuring timely updates in SAP and HubSpot.
  • Proactively liaise with the HQ to expedite shipments of machinery as needed.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly shipping analysis reports to provide insight into logistics performance and potential improvements.
  • Organise and maintain accurate shipping documents, ensuring easy access and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate investigations into shipment damages, missing parts, and other issues, handling related insurance claims promptly and effectively.
  • Identify and evaluate potential alternative shippers for emergency, non-EU shipments to maintain continuity and minimise delays.
  • Support the implementation of KCME’s transport services for dealers, offering analytical insight and managing the coordination of transport operations as the project progresses
  • Provide support as a holiday back-up for sales coordinators, ensuring consistent coverage and smooth operations during absences.
  • Handle routine tasks related to shipments, including completing recharge forms for Japan and managing spare parts logistics.
  • Actively represent and promote the brand at exhibitions, trade fairs, dealer meetings, and other industry events.

Additional Potential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to anticipate logistics needs and improve service levels.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for logistics and transport coordination.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for shipping and transport, recommending improvements.
  • Provide support in forecasting shipment volumes and planning resources to meet demand.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with SAP, HubSpot, and other logistics management software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues.
  • Note: You must live in Almere region (the company will move to Lelystad in Summer 2025)
  • Candidates who live abroad, will not be considered.

Salary Benefits:

  • Between EUR 3300 and EUR 4000 (max). Please note: the salary is depending on work experience and education
  • Long term position and full time (possible 4 days, needs to be discussed)

  • The job requires 100% at the office (during the training period 5-6 months). After the training period, hybrid work is possible, however needs to be discussed with the manager
