Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is urgently looking for a Warehouse & Inventory Control Coordinator who has experience with SAP and enjoy working with numbers and data. Please note that this position is a temporary job for 6 months via Adams Recruitment and we can only consider candidates who are available immediately due to the urgency.
Key responsibilities:
The Warehousing and Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehousing and inventory management across the EMEA region. This role focuses on efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods, accurate inventory maintenance, and alignment with the broader supply chain strategy to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Warehousing Operations: Oversee daily activities including goods receipt, storage, and dispatch. Ensure operational efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction. Optimize use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits with Finance. Implement controls to minimize discrepancies and losses. Maintain accuracy in precise records in a high-volume environment.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound logistics in line with regulations and policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements using data and analytics to optimize efficiency. Mitigate delays or shortages through Fast Track Process.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present performance reports, keeping accurate activity records. Ensure regulatory compliance across the EMEA region.
Who we are looking for:
- Fluency in English
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, especially warehouse and inventory reconciliation is a must
- Experience with SAP, PowerBI and Excel (Pivot Table, V-Look Up)
- Team player with excellent client service and interpersonal skills
- Focus and attention to detail, put ideas forward through careful observation
- Based in the Netherlands and holding a valid work permit in the Netherlands
Way of working:
This position is a temporary job for 6 months and is a full-time job for 40 hours a week (32-36 hours per week can also be considered).
This is a hybrid way of working where you are expected to come to the office at least once to twice a week in the Amsterdam office, with an expectation to come in more frequently during the training period.
