About Rotterdam Museum Night 2014
The Rotterdam Museum Night has been offering visitors a new perspective on the cultural institutions of the city since 2002.
With over 50 participants for the 2014 edition, the programme has greatly expanded and seeks to introduce visitors to a diverse mix of exhibitions, special workshops, dance and theatrical performances, live music and parties developed exclusively for the night.
The theme of this year's Museum Night is Tracks (Sporen).
The premise of Tracks is to acknowledge the elements of the past, present and future that have left or will leave their mark, or tracks, on the city.
Examples of participating museums and galleries include Het Nieuwe Instituut, Worm, Witte De With, Rotterdamse Schouwberg, Garage Rotterdam, the Nederlands Fotomuseum and the Maritiem Museum.
