Temporary Assistant to General Manager Sales | English (maternity cover April 2025 - November 2025)

What will you do?
You will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager Sales (EMEA) by managing administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and assisting with sales-related activities to ensure the efficient operation of the sales department.
What are your key responsibilities?

  • Assist in preparing, formatting, and distributing reports, presentations, and sales documents.
  • Maintain and update sales reports, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Conduct data analysis and research to support decision-making.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items and deadlines.
  • Manage correspondence and communication on behalf of the General Manager Sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to streamline workflows and processes.
  • Track key activities to support the execution of strategies and achievement of sales targets in line with quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Manage the General Manager Sales' calendar, including scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Arrange travel, including booking flights, accommodations, and preparing itineraries as needed.

Requirements:

Who are you?

  • Minimum HBO (Bachelor) working and thinking level.
  • Proven experience in administrative (assistant) or support roles.
  • Strong commercial mindset and figures (numbers) literate
  • Work experience within a Sales / Commercial team
  • Excellent written and oral expression skills in English.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software). Particularly with Excel, it must be on a proficient level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented; Decisive in achieving goals using available resources (“hands-on” mentality).
  • Team player/driver combination between disciplined result-oriented and friendly binding.
  • Accurate due to the required accuracy in the performance of the position.
  • Stress-resistant in connection with work that is under time pressure and in which disruption can play a role.
  • Working onsite 100% (no hybrid model)

Salary Benefits:

Please note, this is a temporary position from April - November 2025

  • The contract is via Undutchables
  • The salary is max. EUR 3400 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week
  • The working days are from Monday until Friday from 8:45 hours - 17:30 hours
  • The travel cost will be reimbursed
  • Pension plan from day 1
