As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for increasing and maintaining the company's revenue. You will manage customer relationships, provide advisory support, and capitalize on commercial opportunities. You will contribute to revenue growth through external sales calls, networking events, telemarketing, and company tours. Actively seeking new customers and conducting market research will be an essential part of your role. You will ensure that customer agreements are properly followed up and support the organization in maximizing revenue.
Responsibilities
- Promoting good cooperation between departments according to the OER principle (Open, Honest, Respectful).
- Maintaining customer relationships and performing after-sales activities.
- Representing the organization at trade shows and events.
- Monitoring market developments and competitor activities.
- Preparing quotes and making agreements within set guidelines.
What do you bring to the table?
We are looking for someone who is commercially driven and enjoys seizing new opportunities. You have a proactive attitude, can work well under pressure, and have a flexible mindset. You are team-oriented and ready to take responsibility. Additionally, experience with large hotel chains such as Marriott or Hilton is a must.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
- Professional level of English. Dutch is a plus.
- Have a flexible attitude and not adhere strictly to a 9-5 mentality.
- Show enthusiasm and have a commercial mindset.
