Do you want to make an impact by accelerating digital transformation in the energy sector? As a Data Engineer, you will help unlock the power of big data from wind turbines, batteries, and heating grids to optimize decision-making and asset utilization. Among your responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and translate them into IT solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain data lake solutions and self-service reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and streaming data analytics.
- Work with modern cloud and on-premise database technologies.
- Collaborate in a DevOps team with architects, data scientists, and business experts.
A great full time assignment in Amsterdam (hybrid working is possible), starting in April and initially till the end of '25. Unfortunately, zzp is not possible for this assignment, so you will work through a flex contract via us with a salary between €6000 and €8000 gross per month.

Requirements:
Naturally, the Data Engineer we are looking for is a hands-on problem solver with a passion for data and innovation. Next to that we'd like to see:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
* Experience with Azure stack (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory), SQL, Python, and CI/CD tools.
* Familiar with Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and IT Architecture principles.
* Agile mindset and experience working in SCRUM teams.
* Strong communication skills in English.
