Temporary Junior Accountant

Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for at least 2 months . This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to their financial operations. Start ASAP!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting senior accountants with various accounting tasks
Keeping accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoices up to date
Handling reconciliations and making sure everything balances
Managing journal entries and tracking business transactions
Updating financial records to keep them accurate and easily accessible
Assisting in reviewing expenses, payroll records, and financial procedures
Helping with balance sheets, income statements, and other key financial documents
Preparing weekly and monthly reports
Assisting in monthly and yearly financial closings

Requirements:

What They’re Looking For:

1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
Familiarity with basic accounting and financial principles
Good Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting mechanics
Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in financial tasks
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Good analytical and numerical abilities
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Experience with Dutch GAAP is not required, but could be a plus

Salary Benefits:

This is a temporary position for at least 2 months, with an immediate start!
Full time position of 38 hours. Working 80% is also possible
Hybrid working: 2 days at home + 3 days at the office in Amsterdam Zuidoost.
