Financial Controller - Customer Service Organization

We are seeking a talented Financial Controller to join an exciting company located in Amsterdam.

Some of your main responsibilities are:

• Manage the timely preparation and reporting of monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting principles;




• Lead the consolidation process, ensuring financial statements are accurate and prepared in accordance with internal deadlines;




• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting procedures, developing and implementing improvements where necessary;




• Act as the main point of contact for finance-related queries, providing expert guidance on accounting and consolidation matters;




• Oversee salary administration processes, ensuring adherence to applicable labor conditions and tax regulations;




• Manage tax-related matters, collaborating with external advisors to ensure compliance with local and international tax laws;




• Monitor and ensure the accuracy of sales and purchasing contracts, ensuring alignment with established policies and standards;




• Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy;




• Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial data is consistent and accurate.

You will receive a market compliant salary between €4,500 and €5,500 gross per month based on full-time. This position is open for 40 hours per week. There are additional benefits associated with the position that will be discussed in further meetings.

Requirements:

We ask that you have:

* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, at a minimum of HBO+/University level;
* 5+ years of experience in financial controlling or a similar finance-focused role in an international business environment;
* Strong expertise in salary administration and an in-depth understanding of local tax laws and regulations;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular), with knowledge of SAP or a similar accounting system preferred;
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with knowledge of Dutch being an advantage;
* A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
