Accountant

• Maintain account payables, receivables and general accounting ledgers by registering the appropriate accounting transactions;
• Reconcile the transitory account;
• Process relevant reference documents for the account transactions;
• Assist the reporting department on the activity of trade balances intercompany reconciliation process by timely providing the correct and accurate documentation;
• Upon receipt the correct and accurate documentation from the treasury department, perform the bank reconciliation line by line;
• Provide support to the Dutch VAT(BTW) reporting where required;
• Assist the Accounting Supervisor in case of disputes with vendors, customers and branches;
• Give support to the Accounting Supervisor during the year End audit activities;
• Preparation of accounts receivables by collecting adequate supporting documents;
• Reconcile the transitory accounts;
• Check outstanding balances of vendors and customers;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Experience in a similar position;
• Solid command of Accounting practices, including Month-End Closing duties, Dutch GAAP, SOX;
• Bachelor or similar Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong command of Excel is a must
• Fluency in English is required
