West Friesland Halloween Fair is one of the largest and most well-known pop-up themed Halloween fairs in the Netherlands. In 2019, the fair celebrates its 5th anniversary, therefore it’s going to be operating for one hour longer than usual!

Located at De Gouwe Stek Campsite in Bovenkarpsel, North Holland, it’s the perfect place for families and kids to enjoy a Halloween to remember! The Halloween fairground of 50 tents across 4.000 square metres welcomes children and their parents for a scare and a half.

There are over 15 activities for children, including pumpkin archery, pumpkin carving, a ghost maze, music, dance and theatre performances, marshmallow roasting, face painting, a haunted house, a Mr and Miss Halloween contest and so much more. This year, it is set to be more festive and creepier than ever, so it's the ideal way to spend some time during the school holidays.

There’s also a market selling toys, gadgets, clothing for children and adults, crafts, lifestyle items, mystical-themed products and Halloween merchandise. Of course, there are also food stalls selling warm food, such as hot dogs and french fries and even some Dutch food specialities like fresh warm stroopwafels.
