The British School in the Netherlands (BSN) warmly invites you and your family to join them for an individual tour of their campuses in The Hague.

Discover the BSN

Comprising four campuses in and around The Hague, The British School has been inspiring change-makers since 1931. With over 2.000 students, aged from 3-18 years old, and nearly 90 nationalities represented, the BSN offers your child a truly diverse and enriching learning environment.

A tour provides the opportunity to see The British School experience and values in action. Their mission is to prepare your child with the knowledge, skills, and characteristics to become a successful global citizen who can make an impact and help to build a better world. Read on to learn about all the elements of a BSN education that lay the foundation for this success.

A rounded education

“I like the fact that there is a topic for all children at school and everybody has a talent for something.” - BSN Parent

At the BSN, every student has opportunities to participate in activities and experiences, both within and outside the classroom, to discover and develop their unique talents, creativity and interests. The BSN is known for its excellent and high-quality curriculum, taught by a teaching staff with both strong subject knowledge and a focus on meeting each student’s individual needs.

Every child can be a high performer

The BSN adopts the High Performance Learning (HPL) approach that believes everyone has the capability to become a high performer and aims to provide each student with the mindset, skills and behaviours that will help them succeed.

Students follow the British curriculum, adapted to an international and Dutch context, up until GCSEs at the age of 16. They can then choose the pathway that best suits their learning style and ambitions: either the British system of A -Levels, the International Baccalaureate (IB) or the BTEC programmes (work-related qualifications).

BSN students go to universities all around the world!

“I think that the best thing about the BSN is that it includes everyone, including their thoughts, feelings, opinions, and way more. They support students throughout their journey and make them feel happy and proud.” - BSN student
