The Amsterdam Winter Paradise (Het Amsterdamse Winterparadijs) is back and bigger than ever before! Families and kids, students, locals and expats of all ages will have the time of their lives at this festive event at Amsterdam RAI.
A winter event of epic proportions at Amsterdam RAI
On December 18, 2024 - January 4, 2025, the RAI Amsterdam will once again be transformed into the place for your ultimate winter experience. Both during the day and in the evening, a wonderful world opens up in which there is a lot to take in and enjoy, for young and old.

Skate under a spectacle of lights on the indoor and outdoor ice rinks, discover the ultimate view of Amsterdam from the mega Ferris wheel and slide on one of the tube rings on real snow! Celebrate the evening in the "après-ski" hut or at the winter party with kicking tunes and warm, festive drinks. The Amsterdam Winter Paradise brings the ultimate winter experience back to Amsterdam yet again!
The Amsterdam Winter Paradise programme
Here is an overview of what you can expect:
Ice skating
Open every day, the ice skating area comprises an indoor ice rink and an outdoor ice rink, which are interconnected, so you can experience both.
The ice skating experience consists of:
A separate ice rink for children up to six years
Five curling lanes, where you can take part in curling competitions
Koek & Zopie skating bar in the middle of the skating rink

The Snow Paradise
The huge Snow Paradise is where you can immerse yourself in snow, no matter what way the Dutch weather goes! There will be two tube runs with a total of eight slides covered with real snow. Also, don't miss the Winter Maze, the VR experience and the chance to play winter games on PS4!
The Winter Games
A 400-metre-long cross-country ski run with an official shooting section sets the scene in the Winter Games area. Prepare for ice racing on a Formula 1 course and throwing snowballs in a snowball arena.

Discover the ultimate view of Amsterdam from the mega Ferris wheel. You can also find the following funfair activities:

Stage with live performances
Great artists will come on stage for a real festive atmosphere. Almost every evening there is a special two-hour show with delightful Christmas classics, Dutch pop hits and lots of guilty pleasures. This year's special afternoon programme also offers a top show for young and old.
Christmas Cinema
The programme for the cinema will be announced very soon. Reservations cannot be made in advance, so make sure you are on time!
The Food Paradise
Popular Amsterdam restaurants provide the catering for the event, to bring delicious bites to the hungry revellers. Additionally, you can look forward to tasty treats from food trucks like cheese fondue, poffertjes, stews, seafood and many more goodies.
Don't miss "The Marshmallow Experience", mulled wine, Dutch snacks including an oliebollen stall, a poffertjes stall and even some German cuisine, like bratwurst.

Après-Ski parties
Après-ski Experience indoor and outdoor takes place every day from 3pm to 8pm, as well as a silent après ski party. Starting at 8pm, the indoor party at Amsterdam Winter Paradise will be the largest après-ski party in the whole city.

Amsterdam Winter Paradise tickets are available online, so get your tickets (and your skates ready) now! Tickets start at 19,50 euros for a standard adult evening entrance ticket. Season tickets are also available, granting access for the entire duration of the festival.
