Customer Service Representative - German C2

As a Customer Service Representative for our client, you will be an essential part of building and maintaining strong customer relationships across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You will act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth order processing, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer inquiries via email and phone in a professional and timely manner.
- Processing orders in the system.
- Creating offers and advising customers on products, with an emphasis on cross-selling and upselling.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including Product Development and Supply Chain, to find solutions to customer inquiries.
- Managing administrative tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Proactively addressing potential issues before they arise, maintaining a positive customer experience.
Each day will be varied, involving both customer interaction and administrative duties. You will work closely with a team of 8 colleagues, ensuring that every customer receives the best possible service.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Fluency in German (written and spoken at a C1 or C2 level)—this is a hard criterion for consideration for the role, along with strong communication skills in English.
- A completed MBO-level education or equivalent experience.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- A commercial mindset with strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (a plus).
- The ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive, service-minded approach with strong attention to detail.
- A team-player attitude, with the ability to work independently when required.
