HR Assistant | Part-time | Immediataly available

Our client, a fast-growing consulting firm that partners with leading businesses to drive transformation, is looking for an HR professional to support the team with ongoing operations. With a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture, they value innovation, efficiency, and a people-first approach.
Please note that this will be on a temporary contract via our recruitment agency and you will be offered a contract through us, Adams Recruitment, for the time of the assignment. For this reason, we can only consider candidates who are available immediately and based in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and refine HR operational processes, including payroll updates, visa applications, employee benefits administration, and expense policy implementation.
- Serve as a primary contact for HR-related inquiries, such as employer statements and general employee support.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including sickness reporting and Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RIE).
- Identify and improve inefficiencies within existing HR systems and support ongoing HR improvement initiatives.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless experience.
Who we’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience
- Good understanding of HR processes; familiarity with Nmbrs is a plus.
- Business-level fluency in English (proficiency in Dutch is a strong plus).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Availability for 24 to 32 hours per week, with 1-2 days in the office (Amsterdam).
