Senior Communications Specialist - Temporary

Apply today!You will be responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategy. The goal is to build a strong reputation with external stakeholders and foster engaged, well-informed employees. You will focus on:

• Strategic Leadership: Develops and manages communication strategies and plans in collaboration with General Managers, Country Management Teams, and IHQ leaders, adapting them to local priorities. Builds networks within the retail sector, strengthens the company's reputation, and advises on strategic communication improvements;




• Comprehensive Planning: Creates communication activity plans aligned with the company's communication strategy, ensuring their execution while collaborating closely with internal and external communication teams and project groups.




• Execution and Adaptation: Customizes centrally developed communication tools and content for local or functional use. Maintains relationships with PR and Public Affairs agencies, manages annual plans and budgets, and ensures smooth implementation;




• Media Relations: Acts as the company's primary spokesperson, proactively managing press releases, interviews, and media briefings while responding to inquiries in coordination with IHQ and country teams;




• Stakeholder Support: Supports General Managers and management teams in communication matters, represents the company in public forums, and provides assistance with speeches and presentations.

This is a temporary position and you will be employed by us for the duration of the project. Your salary will be based on your current skills and experience. This is a full-time position, and please note that working in the office 4 days a week is required.

Requirements:

* A bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in an international or retail organization;
* Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal;
* Strong relationship-building abilities, persuasive, credible, and equipped with excellent advisory skills;
* Well-organized, results-driven, effective in teamwork, and focused on improving processes for more efficient use of time and resources;
* Flexible, pragmatic, culturally open-minded, and internationally oriented.
