In the vibrant city of Hoofddorp, an exciting opportunity awaits as a Quality & Food Safety Standards Manager with a prestigious international Food Organization. For the next six months , you could be at the forefront of ensuring compliance and enhancing food safety standards that affect consumers and patients alike.

Join a dedicated team within Specialized Nutrition Food Safety, where your expertise will be pivotal in proactive risk management. Here, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating emerging food safety risks while defining the essential requirements that safeguard food products.

Your journey will involve collaborating with various departments, supporting risk management in sourcing, innovation, and manufacturing.

  • Supporting and preventing (Q)FS incidents & crises;

  • Ensuring continuous improvement (FSI) and building FS capabilities (tools & training);

  • Update the SN Q&FS Finished Product standard to protect the license to operate in the SN + First Diet category, based on a shortlist of essential updates, mainly driven by evolving food safety regulations;

  • As the First Point of Contact, you facilitate the implementation of these standards and provide support to factories and CBUs on the management of deviations (with back-up from SRM colleagues & experts);

  • Track Food Safety Regulatory evolutions for the Infant and Young Children & Medical Nutrition portfolio based on team inputs, European Industry Association inputs (incl. SNE), regulatory databases and inputs from the SN FS Regulatory Referent Network;

  • Coordinate the SNu & First Diet Risk Mitigation Groups (RMGs), associated minutes and action follow-up.

You will receive a temporary contract for 6 months through our agency, with the possibility of extension.

The rate for this Vacancy is a maximum of 85 euros (all-inclusive)

Requirements:

* Bachelor or Master degree in a food technical or quality-related discipline;
* 3 - 4 years of experience in a similar role;
* Ability to work independently with little supervision to achieve results effectively;
* Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization and to communicate effectively to all stakeholders and external parties;
* Good planning and organization skills and the ability to handle different tasks at the same time; previous experience in project management is a plus;
* Be able to take the lead in times of challenges and structure scenarios for resolution and mitigation to steer decision;
* Good MS Office skills;
* Good communication skills in English are required.
