We are partnered with a Chinese leader in the telecommunications market with over 35 years of providing excellent and cost-efficient services and products. Octagon currently supplies an administrative team and are looking to add an Administration Team Lead to their office in The Hague.

As Administration Team Lead, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and optimizing the admin team's ability to meet operational demands. This will involve analysing current capacity metrics, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing strategies to maximize team productivity and performance.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who possess the ability to prioritize tasks, offer constructive feedback, and play a proactive role in optimizing team operations.



Responsibilities:




  • Analyze and forecast current team capacity and implement changes to meet operational demands.

  • Monitor and optimize resource allocation for workload balance and efficiency.

  • Implement and track performance metrics and KPIs to measure capacity utilization and effectiveness.

  • Mentor and guide team members to develop their skills and knowledge.

  • Organize and schedule team activities to ensure efficient work-flow.

  • Handle on-boarding of new team members, ensuring a smooth integration process.

  • Identify training needs and talent development opportunities to enhance team skills.

  • Conduct regular capacity assessments and report findings to leadership.

  • Implement solutions to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Use analytical tools to drive decision-making and optimize processes.




Desired Qualifications:




  • Great communication skills in English and Mandarin.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in team and capacity management, with a strong focus on optimizing operational efficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, operations, or a related field.

  • Advanced degree or PM certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

  • Experience with capacity planning and optimization.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
