Regional Sales Representative | Benelux (Energy Sector)

Our client is expanding their Eindhoven team to strengthen their presence in the Benelux market and they are looking for 2 motivated, customer-focused sales professionals to join them.
As a Sales Representative for the Benelux market, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by generating leads, developing relationships, and managing accounts with a diverse client base. This role offers an exciting mix of inside and outside sales activities, enabling you to connect directly with clients and grow a market footprint. You’ll be responsible for creating your own leads, building a pipeline, and traveling regularly to meet clients. Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate and develop leads within the Benelux region, focusing on commercial and industrial clients, solar installers, and renewable energy distributors.
  • Plan and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients. Build strong, lasting relationships by understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to meet them.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our client's products and solutions through internal training and leverage this knowledge to educate your clients and provide technical support.
  • Independently manage and schedule travel for customer meetings, ensuring an efficient balance between in-office tasks and on-site visits.
  • Close Sales deals together with the Technical Support Manager, and manager to handle long sales cycles.

Please note that our client is not a registered organization with the IND, therefore we are not looking for candidates who require sponsorship to gain a work permit.

Requirements:

What do we expect from you?

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English. A minimum of Dutch B2 level is required, with the ability to hold professional conversations with clients.
  • Previous experience in sales, with a proven ability to generate leads, meet sales targets, and build customer relationships.
  • Basic understanding of how electricity works. Familiarity with solar energy and storage products is a plus.
  • Highly self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently and effectively plan schedules.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach and an open communication style.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
