Inbound Logistics Coordinator (Temporary/Fashion)

We are looking for a temporary support specialist to join the vital Supply Planning Department of a leading global fashion brand. In this role, you will contribute to our operational efficiency and strategic growth, playing a key part in our overall success.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee inbound logistics by tracking shipment statuses, collaborating with Product Development, and monitoring WIP charts until goods are shipped from the consolidator;
- Address any potential delays by negotiating with vendors on freight terms and updating stakeholders on changes to arrival dates;
- Develop and manage purchase orders and inbound master files, ensuring accurate calculations related to On Time Availability (OTA) and documenting pertinent production information, such as reasons for delays and current statuses;
- Compile and distribute inbound reports that summarize key insights from the master file to stakeholders, including Management and Buying & Planning teams;
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, providing operational support as needed, and ensuring tasks are executed correctly, such as creating shipment bookings. Regularly remind vendors to meet delivery timelines;
- Continuously compare system data with actual shipment statuses, ensuring that shipments from vendors to the consolidator are executed as scheduled and addressing any discrepancies that arise.

Requirements:
The Ideal Candidate:
* 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a large international company;
* Education: MBO/HBO;
* Proven experience in an administrative support role;
* Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Excel;
* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills;
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
Your daily responsibilities will include maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of purchase orders, updating systems, and generating consistent reports, among other tasks.
