Our client is seeking a highly experienced European Sales & Business Development Manager to join their local team in the Netherlands. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your established network within the logistics sector to cultivate and expand customer relationships across Europe, driving the growth of the international parcel business in Western Europe to meet and exceed regional targets.
  • Strategically identifying and addressing European market needs, developing innovative sales strategies, and offering bespoke solutions tailored to large, multinational clients.
  • Leading and managing high-level projects for European customers, ensuring seamless execution and long-term success.
  • Conducting in-depth research into international parcel logistics trends, identifying opportunities, and implementing strategic actions to address customer demands.
  • Collaborating closely with senior management to provide insights, drive business development initiatives, and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.

Requirements:

If this opportunity excites you, here are the qualifications we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cross-border logistics, with a proven track record in business development and sales leadership.
  • A robust network of contacts within the logistics industry, particularly in Europe, with experience working with large, multinational clients.
  • Expertise in project management, including bidding, cost estimation, and strategic oversight of complex logistics projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset that drives results.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, along with strong English communication skills for high-level business interactions.
  • Residence within a commutable distance from Amsterdam.

Salary Benefits:

Salary will be based upon your experience. Besides that, you will receive:

  • 25 days of holiday
