Financial Administrator - Accounts Payable

The accounts payable administrator manages the following responsibilities:

  • Takes care of the timely, correct and complete booking of invoices and creditors.
  • Ensures the correct and timely processing of purchase invoices (coding and authorizing).
  • Monitors the timely payment of creditors.
  • Takes care of the timely, correct and complete administration of the invoices to be charged.
  • Conducts correspondence with creditors regarding billing and payment.
  • Monitors the open item list of creditors.
  • Maintains contact with home banks with regard to payment transactions and debit cards.
  • Keeps track of financing costs, processes them in ERP and provides input for bank covenants.
  • Ensures the correct processing of the fixed costs during the year (breakdown by quarters) and books provisions for the fixed costs when they have not yet been invoiced.b a budget.

Requirements:

  • MBO+ minimum.
  • Experience in working with accounting programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, good skills in working with MS Office software.
  • Specific experience in accounts payable.
  • Understanding of accounting processes in the company's areas of activity.
  • Management of internal control mechanisms (ability to check oneself).
  • Analytical thinking, accuracy, self-discipline.
  • A result-oriented personality with a high sense of responsibility, with the skills to set priorities.
  • Great communicator in English. Dutch is a bonus.
  • Desired work experience in the profession of at least 2 years.
