Our client, a company specializing in wood protection products, operates a Geldermalsen-based office that handles sales, operations, and supply chain activities. They work with wood product manufacturers, architects, factory finishers, and other professionals passionate about wood solutions.

They are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support daily operations, including order processing, shipping coordination, and administrative tasks. As this is a newly staffed office,

⚠ Please note: In the beginning, you will be the only person working on-site at the office. You will have full remote support from the North American team, but you must be comfortable handling daily operations independently. The company plans to expand the team very soon, but for now, this is a stand-alone role requiring a self-sufficient and proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general office operations, including welcoming visitors and managing couriers.
  • Maintain office supplies, organize facilities, and ensure office procedures run smoothly.
  • Assist with workflow documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Provide timely email and phone follow-ups for customer inquiries and order-related communications.
  • Accurately process and document orders using the company’s CRM system.
  • Work closely with the North American team to coordinate logistics, shipping, and customer service tasks.
  • Support occasional trade show participation, including setting up booths and engaging with customers.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in office administration, sales support, or shipping is beneficial (training will be provided).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently in an office setting, with remote support from the Canadian team.
