How augmented reality could save hidden museum collections
The Dutch National Museum of Antiquities (Rijksmuseum van Oudheden) in Leiden has, in an attempt to make more of their collection available, collaborated with researchers at TU Delft to develop a new way of viewing artefacts.
Using Microsoft's HoloLens headsets, the museum intends to show visitors far more than what they would normally have on display using augmented reality.
