Dogdrones to the rescue

With start-ups popping up all over the country, is it any wonder that someone thought of this?

Every year in the Netherlands, 100 million kilos of dog doo-doo are left on the streets. Well, now that problem has been solved.

Dogdrones, a start-up by Gerben Lievers and Marc Sandelowsky are set to release a fleet of drones to work in collaboration with on-the-ground robots to scoop up the poo left behind by dog owners. They believe that dog poo poses a threat to human health particularly as it contains bacteria, viruses, parasites and worms.
