Indian Dance in The Hague
The India Dance Festival is one of the largest to focus solely on the works of Indian and Hindustani artists. Over the course of two weeks, the selection presents a mix of contemporary, traditional and fusions of styles produced by artist working both in India and abroad.
From sensual Odissi to the rapid movements of Kathak, the performances give audiences in the Netherlands a rare look at masters of their craft. Along with dance showcases, the festival also features a variety of screenings and workshops to further teach visitors about the role of dance in India both historically and today.

Now Is | Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company
After a successful show in the 2013 edition of the festival, the Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company returns with a multimedia performance that mixes Kathak inspired moves with paint and poses the existential question: can you live in the moment?
An expert in the enchanting dance style of Mohiniyattam, Neena Prasad combines fluent form and graceful movements to showcase her mastery of technique.
One of India's hottest dancers at the moment, Meenakshi Srinivasan will be showcasing her remarkable blend of contemporary with traditional as she makes the art of Bharatanatyam her own.
