The Netherlands scores high in English language skills according to the EF English Proficiency Index 2011 (EF EPI), a standardised measurement of adult English proficiency.

More specifically, the Netherlands ranks second in the EF EPI that compares the English ability of more than two million adults across 44 countries who took free online English tests over three years (2007 - 2009).
