About us
The UvA Platform for Democratic Resilience is a partnership of the faculties of Law, Humanitiesand Society and Behaviour. The student assistant will work within the section for Constitutional and Administrative Law at the UvA. This section is part of the Department of Public Law and provides education and research in the field of constitutional and administrative law. Within the section, we are fascinated by the legal relationship between citizens and government. We study how the law works, because we like thorough, fundamental legal research. We are keenly aware that the application of law is also a choice. In doing so, there must always be an eye for the interests of individual citizens and possible other solutions. The connection with society is therefore central. Within the section, there is a pluralistic culture and an ambitious, open, positive atmosphere in which we make room for everyone's input.
The Section for Constitutional and Administrative Law provides education in the bachelor's programme in Law and also in the master's programme in Constitutional and Administrative Law. Our research is closely linked to the education we provide.
We also believe it is important to be visible to our colleagues, legal practice and society. That is why we frequently communicate our teaching and research via LinkedIN. We also have our own blog site www.burgeroverheid.nl
