Revenue Management Business Partner

As a Revenue Management Business Partner you oversee the steps that need to be taken within the billing proces and serve as the main point of contact for the partners and clients.
These are your responsibilities:
- WIP Management - Organizing and holding monthly WIP review meetings with Partners to promote instructions for billing and matter maintenance requirements.
- Revenue Management - Acting as the senior escalation point for Partners where revenue management or matter setup issues occur, working closely with colleagues across Revenue Operations. Owning queries around the revenue and billing process until resolution;
- Partner and Client interaction - Liaising with clients on several requests and assist Partners with fee updates;
- Pricing support - Under the guidance of the Pricing and Commercial Insights (PCI) team, provide basic pricing support and client analysis. Also assist in the annual client rate review process;
- Improvements - Identifying, evaluating and prioritizing actionable improvements to liberate significant cash from working capital;
- Policies and local regulation - Review billing guides, invoices and credit notes received from Fee Earners and Secretaries for compliance with the firm's policies and local regulations;
- First Finance - As an expert user of First Finance suite, promote and train Fee Earners in its use;
- Risk management - Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and EMEA working capital policies;
- EMEA community - Contribute to the EMEA community of Revenue Business Partners, sharing best practice and providing support as needed.
Curious to see what an average month will look like in 5 steps?
- At the beginning of the month you will have meetings with the partners reviewing the process of invoicing and current draft bills which need to be made.
- You will get in direct contact with the shared service center in the UK so they can start making the requested draft bills, in the mean team you will keep an eye on the invoicing process, inform partners and clients of the ongoing process and answer any questions that they may have;
- Once you receive the complete draft bills you will review them and send them out to the partners and clients.
- The moment you receive feedback on the draft bills you will answer any question or handle any topic to insure the accuracy of the draft bills.
- At last, when the draft bills are accurate and complete, the official invoice can be sent out to the client.
In the mean time you acted as a main contact person for the partners, give advise, and answer questions from partners and clients. You are involved constantly in the invoicing proces and knows were the issues are and you are able to solve problems that occur.
You are part of the finance team within the organization, which consist of 7 people. This is a close-knit team, that have lunch together and are there to help each other.
This is position is for 4 to 5 days a week. A salary of € 3.000,- to € 4.500,- gross per month based on a 40 hour work week, they are also offering the following:

Requirements:
Your ability to communicate effectively, manage complex tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy will be essential to your success in this role. Furthermore you bring:
* 3+ years of experience with billing within professional services;
* Excellent communication skills: You can speak professionally and take initiative on making contact including the ability to influence or challenge senior stakeholders when necessary;
* Emotional resilience: Has strength of personality to ensure the perspective of Finance is clearly communicated, even under pressure;
* Accuracy: you pay attention to detail, but you also have the ability to see the bigger picture;
* Fluent in English, both orally and written.
* A pro-active mindset supporting the development of yourself, colleagues, and business processes and interactions;
* A team-player mindset with a can-do attitude who is transparent and has a straight-forward approach.
