The client's finance team is a small, close-knit group who work together to provide support across the client's European operations. They manage regular financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly reports for the client's offices across Europe. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing key financial tasks such as bank reconciliations, direct debits, credit control, and processing payments.
- Assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings, along with audits and budget preparations.
- Preparing various financial reports, as well as providing ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Ensuring VAT compliance by calculating and submitting VAT returns.
- Overseeing the company car management policy and insurance portfolio.
- Monitoring and enhancing internal financial processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Setting up workflows for smarter and more efficient data processing.

For this role, we require:
- A higher vocational qualification (HBO), preferably in Finance or Business
- Recent and relevant professional experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken. While proficiency in Dutch is strongly preferred for this role, we are open to considering highly qualified candidates who are fluent in English, provided they meet the other criterias for the position
- Experience or interest in IT developments (such as Power BI) is an advantage
