Senior Associate, Global Accounting | Pharma Industry

We are seeking a Sr Associate Accounting to join our customer's Global Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for the month-end close and controllership activities for specific countries in the ELMAC region (Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, and Canada). You will collaborate with local finance teams, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close for assigned ELMAC countries.
• Support the preparation of close packages, variance analysis, and disclosure checklists.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and functional finance teams to streamline accounting processes.
• Assist in tax compliance, internal/external audits, and implementation of recommended improvements.
• Monitor service levels, process maps, and SOPs to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and support to management through reporting and analytics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP is a a plus
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written); knowledge of Eastern European languages is a plus.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, with experience in reporting and management readouts.
• Experience with SAP or Blackline is a plus.

Salary Benefits:

• Hybrid position: work on-site in Breda approximately two days per week.
• 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
• Travel expense reimbursement
• The contract will be through Undutchables.
