For their team in Amsterdam, our client is seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Manager. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s network in the Dutch market. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for market trends, a passion for technology, and the ability to think creatively to drive growth.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and recommend business opportunities that align with company goals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base.
- Explore new target markets and identify potential for growth, such as the DIY or outdoor sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Provide insights into market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
You are the one we are searching for if you:
- Have at least circa 4 years of experience in Business Development or a similar role.
- Have a strong interest in technology products and innovation.
- Have proven ability to achieve targets and drive business growth.
- Have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, with additional language skills (such as Chinese) being a plus.
- Have a creative and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Are cient-focused with a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Have, ideally, experience in the retail (hardware) industry as well as a successful track record of building and expanding business networks
