Let's connect and explore this opportunity together!The Packaging Specialist ensures the compliance, safety, and performance of suppliers within their portfolio, driving continuous improvement and supporting business strategies in alignment with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supplier Compliance & Performance: Oversee supplier adherence to food safety, quality, and handling efficiency standards. Lead supplier approval, material validation, and risk assessments;

  • Incident & Complaint Management: Address complaints, incidents, derogations, and concessions, driving corrective actions and continuous supplier performance improvement;

  • Process & Project Support: Collaborate with procurement and supply teams to ensure quality is prioritized in supplier selection and project execution. Support sustainability, BCP, and other strategic initiatives;

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards within the team and suppliers. Report irregularities and foster a safe working environment;

  • Culture of Quality: Contribute to the promotion of a strong quality culture across the supplier network, supporting both internal stakeholders and suppliers in continuous improvement efforts.


Key Deliverables:


  • Supplier approvals (audits, action plans, certifications);

  • Supplier performance monitoring and KPI tracking;

  • Timely support for projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement;

  • Management of supplier complaints, incidents, and compliance issues.

You will receive a temporary contract for 12 months through our agency, with the possibility of an extension.
Salary indication for this role is a maximum of €5700,- gross per month based on a full-time work week. Salary is based on education and experience;


  • 30 vacation days (based on a full-time annual contract);

  • Travel expenses.


Requirements:

Educational Background and Professional Experience:

* Degree: Master's in Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Management, or Packaging Development;
* Work Experience: At least 2-3 years in a related field.

Skills and Competencies in Innovation:

* Management of Suppliers' Quality, Food Safety (QFS) expertise, and knowledge of packaging materials across various categories;
* Proficiency in providing guidance and fostering innovation and productivity through idea generation;
* Capability to advise on specific QFS measures and controls for packaging materials to ensure consistent supply;
* Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn, paired with the ability to share knowledge effectively;
* Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain self-awareness in professional settings.
