What will you do?You are a member of the Finance team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across various functions to ensure seamless financial operations.

  • Ensure timely availability of complete and accurate data.
  • Assist in maintaining control over accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with company standards, and systematically processing trade payables as per agreed vendor payment terms.
  • Review and process invoices in accordance with established procedures and accounting standards.
  • Manage and resolve escalated accounts payable issues.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Perform month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for internal controls, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide support to other accounting team members.
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of new financial solutions, tools, and process transitions.
  • Take responsibility for a specific accounting function (Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable) and execute assigned tasks.
  • Participate in reporting and analysis projects.
  • Continuously seek improvements in process execution.

Requirements:

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Strong understanding and experience in finance, bookkeeping, and accounting principles, with a preference for accounts payable experience.
  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken)
  • Work experience in Europe
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with AFAS is a strong advantage.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service to the business.
  • Strong analytical skills, adaptable, taking initiatives, problem solving and problem analysis skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities with an awareness of organizational dynamics.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, open to new processes, technologies, and improvements.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Benefits:

  • This is a long term position and full time (40 hours per week)
  • The salary is between EUR 3200 - EUR 4000 gross per month, depending on work experience and education
