Jr. Supply Chain Specialist | English

Our client, an established company that provides high-end luxury products worldwide, is looking for a Jr Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in the Utrecht area. In this role, you will actively contribute to multiple areas of the supply chain, balancing autonomy with teamwork. You will collaborate with colleagues from production, procurement, and management, working in a dynamic environment where efficiency and growth are closely aligned. 

This is a fully onsite position, and already living in the Utrecht area is a hard requirement for this position. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for and support with the following: 

• Manage inventory to support our client's growth 
• Analyze, evaluate, and decide on transportation expenses to stay cost efficient and drive cost reductions 
• Organize and coordination transportation setup between warehouse and production locations 
• Optimize internal logistics processes, including the order picking process and warehouse layout 
• Be the main point of contact for logistics partners 
• Propose and implement improvements to optimize the supply chain and related processes

Requirements: 

• You have a university degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or relevant field OR prior experience of working within supply chain or operations through, for example, an internship 
• You have prior experience in the luxury fashion/retail industry or demonstrate a strong interest in it
• You speak English fluently; if you speak Dutch that is a big PLUS
• You know how to work with Excel and can create/work with pivot tables, formulas, modeling, dashboards
• You have an eye for details and can spot opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency 
• You are based in the Utrecht area
